At Artextraordinary, we want you to be completely satisfied with your DIY candlemaking kit purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we offer a straightforward return and refund process.
DIY Kit Returns
Eligibility
DIY candlemaking kits may be returned under the following conditions:
- Return request made within 14 days of delivery
- Kit is unopened and in original packaging
- All components are intact and undamaged
- Proof of purchase is provided
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Opened or used kits
- Custom or personalized kit orders
- Essential oils or fragrance samples that have been opened
- Items purchased during clearance sales
Workshop Cancellations
Workshop bookings follow a different policy:
- Full refund for cancellations made 48+ hours before the workshop
- 50% refund or rescheduling for cancellations within 24-48 hours
- No refund for cancellations less than 24 hours before or no-shows
- Rescheduling available subject to availability
In case of workshop cancellation by Artextraordinary, we will offer a full refund or free rescheduling to the next available session.
How to Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact us via email at inquiry@artextraordinary.world with your order number
- Describe the reason for your return
- Wait for return authorization and shipping instructions
- Ship the item in its original packaging using a trackable shipping method
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Inspection completed within 3 business days of receipt
- Refund processed to original payment method
- Refund appears within 5-10 business days depending on your bank
- Email confirmation sent when refund is processed
Damaged or Defective Items
If your kit arrives damaged or contains defective materials:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos
- We will send replacement items at no additional cost
- No need to return damaged items in most cases
- Full refund available if replacement is not preferred
Exchanges
We are happy to exchange unopened kits for a different kit type. Please contact us to arrange an exchange. Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly. Exchange requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.
Shipping Costs
For standard returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For defective or damaged items, Artextraordinary will cover return shipping or arrange pickup. Original shipping costs are non-refundable except in cases of our error.
